The Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has called all Pakistan lawyers representatives convention to make future strategy against the government on May 13. LHCBA president Chaudhry Zulfiqar, flanked by other office bearers, said seven-day deadline given to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif demanding him to step down has passed but he has not given resignation.

While dispelling the impression that three out of four LHCBA representatives having affiliation with three opposition parties are trying to initiate move against the government. He said every lawyer has affiliation with any political party but their affiliation with the bar is above any political affiliation. He said the bar always fight for rule of law and to oust corrupt rulers. He said representatives of all bars of the country are eager to attend the convention and added they would announce their agenda against the corrupt government after that convention. Finance Secretary Zaheer Butt, Vice President, Rashid Lodhi and LHCBA secretary Amir Saeed Rawn said the PM is a threat to the country. They said Jindal is an Indian agent and he came here to bring back Kulbhushan.
